Excel Desk Mounted Protective Return Screens, are desk mounted acrylic protective desk screens designed specifically for bench desks or bench style desking, with screens that to run from the front to back of a desktop, and can be positioned anywhere in the middle of a desktop (not along the side edges or back edge of the desk - for these screens see Related Products at the bottom of this page). Each screen is fixed with a C-Clamp at the front edge of the desk and a Surface Mounted Clamp at the back of the desk which holds to the desktop with a strong adhesive pad. These protective screens are ideal for bench desks, or rows of desks which are joined together where users normally sit side by side, as each screen will create a physical but see-through barrier to the side of the user, helping to limit the spread of airbourne viruses such as Covid-19, whilst also allowing light to pass through the room and maintaining the open feel of the modern workplace.
Made from 5mm thick clear acrylic, the screens and are designed to fit either 600mm deep or 800mm deep desks. Screen widths range from 600mm to 1200mm with larger sizes providing an overhang and increasing the partition size beyond the width of the desk.
The C-Clamps can accomodate a maximum of 40mm thickness desktop. Both the front C-Clamp and back Surface Mounted Clamp come in stainless steel, and the screens come with cut-out notches to allow each screen to sit flush on top of the desk (see images), however you can request no cut-out notches which will leave a gap for running computer cables etc..
The screens are designed to fit exact desk widths - (for example a 1200mm wide (overhang) screen will fit an 800mm deep desk, but due to the position of the cut-out notches, the same screen may not fit a 780mm deep desk. Please check you have measured the desk depth that you need to fit to.) Screens can easily be made to order in bespoke sizes on request.
